01 · The problem

Size charts leave shoppers to work out their own size.

Most product pages already have a size chart, and shoppers still order two sizes. A table asks the shopper to measure themselves, convert units and guess how much room the cut leaves. Few shoppers do this on a phone with a cart open.

03 · Inputs

Five inputs about the shopper and the garment.

The size finder will work with whatever information the shopper chooses to give. One input can be enough for a recommendation. Each extra input is added to the same estimate.

PHOTOFrom their photoIt will estimate the shopper's build and proportions from the photo they upload for a try-on. The shopper does not need to enter any measurements.

WARDROBEFrom what they already wearThe shopper can pick a size they wear in a brand we know. This ties the estimate to a real garment instead of an average body. It takes one dropdown.

ORDERSFrom your order historyIt will use the sizes this shopper kept and the ones they returned. New orders are added to the estimate as they come in, and the order data stays in your store.

FITFrom how they want it to sitThe shopper chooses a close, regular or oversized fit. The same person can need a different size depending on that choice, and the garment chart records how much room each cut has.

TAPEFrom measurements, if the shopper adds themShoppers can enter their measurements if they want to. Measurements are optional.

04 · The recommendation

One recommended size with a short reason.

Genlook will explain each recommendation in one sentence. The shopper can read the reason and pick a different size if they know better.

05 · Garment charts

Genlook builds a size chart for each product.

Each recommendation needs real garment measurements. Genlook will build a chart for each product from the catalog data you already publish.

One chart per product

Two cuts with the same label size get separate charts, because they can fit differently.

Built from your catalog

It will use your titles, descriptions, variant options, supplier sheets and photos. You don't need to write anything new.

You can edit each chart

When you change a measurement, every recommendation that uses it updates. Shoppers who prefer a table can still read the chart.

06 · Alongside try-on

Try-on and size recommendations from the same photo.

Virtual try-on shows shoppers how a piece looks on them. The size finder will recommend which size to order. Both will use the same photo upload and the same consent.

When does it launch?

We will open stores in batches, so recommendations can be checked against real catalogs and real returns first. We have not set a date yet. Join the list and we will tell you which batch your store is in.

Is this a size chart app for Shopify?

Yes. It is planned as a size chart app for Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Shopline, BigCommerce, Magento and Wix, with an API for custom storefronts. The waiting list form accepts any platform.

How is this different from a size chart generator?

A generator gives you a static table to paste on the page; our free size chart generator does that. The AI size chart will build a chart for each product automatically and then recommend one size to each shopper, with a short reason.

Does the shopper have to upload a photo?

No. A photo is one of five inputs. Shoppers can also give a size they wear in a brand we know, or their fit preference. Shoppers who already uploaded a photo for a try-on can reuse it, with their consent.

How accurate can it be without measurements?

We are still testing accuracy on real catalogs, so we do not quote a figure yet. The size finder will show how confident it is, and it will not recommend a size when a product page has too little information.

What if a recommendation is wrong?

The shopper can always pick a different size, and the reason is shown to help them decide. You can correct a garment's measurements, which updates every recommendation that uses them. Returns will also be added to the estimate.

Do I need the virtual try-on app to use it?

No. The size finder will work on its own. If you already use Genlook try-on, the two will share the same photo, the same consent and the same dashboard.

What happens to shopper photos and data?

Photos will be used to estimate body proportions and will follow the same retention and consent rules as try-on photos. They are encrypted, deleted after 7 days and never used to train AI models. Order history stays in your store. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
