Virtual try-on for streetwear.

Streetwear shoppers choose pieces for their silhouette: boxy, oversized or cropped. Genlook adds a try-on button to your product pages, so shoppers can see how a hoodie or tee looks on their own photo in under 10 seconds.

Size charts don't show how an oversized piece will look

Streetwear is bought on cut and silhouette. A size chart can't show whether a boxy tee will look relaxed or too big on a shopper. A note like “model wears size L for an oversized fit” helps only shoppers with the model's build.

  • The intended silhouette is part of the product, and a chart can't show it
  • Oversized pieces look different on every height and build
  • Genlook shows the piece on the shopper's own photo before checkout

How Genlook shows oversized and boxy pieces

Keeps the intended silhouette

Boxy pieces stay boxy and oversized pieces stay oversized, so shoppers see the style as it was designed.

Keeps graphics readable

Chest prints, embroidery and puff prints are placed on the garment and stay recognizable.

Shows drop shoulders

Genlook places the shoulder seam lower on the arm for drop-shoulder pieces, the way the style is worn.

Shows the length on the shopper

Shoppers see where a hoodie or tee ends on their body in the photo and how loose it looks.

Why silhouette matters when selling streetwear online

Streetwear buyers usually know their tag size. A chart doesn't tell them how the piece will look: whether the boxy tee sits at the hip, or how loose a hoodie looks on their build. A note like "Model is 6'1" wearing L" helps shoppers with that build only, and surveys show the wider problem: 46% of shoppers report difficulty picking the right clothing size online.

During a drop, shoppers who are unsure often leave and don't come back. A try-on on the shopper's own photo shows how the piece looks on them while the drop is still live. Your size chart still covers size. The live demo shows how oversized pieces render.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with layered streetwear?

It works best on outer layers (jackets, hoodies, overshirts) and base layers (tees, long sleeves). It shows the garment the shopper selects as the outermost layer.

Will large front graphics get distorted?

Genlook places graphics, puff prints and embroidery on the chest and keeps them recognizable. Clear product photos on plain backgrounds give the best results.

Can we use flat lay photography?

Yes. A flat lay or ghost mannequin shot is enough for Genlook to show the piece on a shopper.

Does it tell shoppers which size to order?

No. It shows how the piece looks on the shopper's photo. The size chart is still how they pick a size.

Are shoppers' photos private?

Yes. Photos are encrypted in transit and at rest, never used to train AI models, and deleted automatically after 7 days.

What does it cost?

The Free plan includes 10 try-ons a month, and no card is required. Paid plans include more try-ons each month.
