02 · The problem with selling apparel online

The fitting room is why stores still beat websites.

In-store, doubt dies in the fitting room. Online, it survives all the way to checkout, or kills it. Every fit question your product page can't answer becomes an abandoned cart or a return label.

· Fit uncertainty is the number one driver of apparel returns

· One model's proportions can't answer every shopper's question

· Genlook puts the fitting room on the product page

03 · Every piece you make

From knitwear to evening wear, the piece survives.

A bias-cut satin isn't a chunky knit. The engine renders the garment your designer actually made.

04 · What the engine gets right

Built to disappear into your brand.

Fabric stays faithful

Silk shines, cotton falls, knit stretches. The render honors the garment your designer actually made.

Your aesthetic, kept

The button inherits your theme; white-label on Pro removes our name entirely. Your brand, end to end.

Your workflow, untouched

Flat lays, ghost mannequins, on-model shots: whatever you already shoot is what the engine uses.

The whole catalog, one pass

Enable try-on per collection from the dashboard. No per-SKU setup, no 3D modeling step.

05 · Where fashion brands use it

Not just the product page.

Product pages

Every apparel PDP becomes a personal fitting room, built on the photography you already shot.

Seasonal drops

New collections previewed on the shopper's own body before they browse away.

Lookbook emails

Launch emails land on try-on pages, so the click converts instead of window-shopping.

06 · In depth

Returns are a fit problem before a logistics problem.

40% of online apparel returns come from incorrect size selection, and 43% of consumers who return clothing cite poor fit. Most brands attack this with better charts and model-size notes, which help, but neither shows the shopper the one thing they're actually asking: how does this look on me?

Try-on answers that question visually, on the shopper's own photo, without changing your photography pipeline or your theme. For the wider picture, the guide on reducing e-commerce returns covers what else moves the number, and the ROI calculator estimates the impact on your traffic.

07 · Fashion brands, specifically

Asked by fashion brands.

Do I need special photos or 3D models?

No. Genlook works with the product photography you already use: flat lays, ghost mannequins, and on-model shots. There is no per-SKU 3D modeling step.

Can the widget match my store design?

Yes. The try-on button inherits your theme styling, and Pro plan merchants can remove Genlook branding for a fully white-label experience.

Will this slow down my product pages?

No. The widget loads asynchronously and only activates when a shopper opens try-on, so your page speed stays intact.

Does it work across our whole range?

Yes. Dresses, tops, outerwear, knitwear, trousers and evening wear all route through the same engine, enabled per product or per collection.

Are shoppers' photos private?

Yes. Photos are encrypted, never used to train models, and deleted automatically after 7 days. GDPR compliant by default.

What does it cost?

The free plan includes 100 generations, enough to test a collection. Paid plans scale with monthly volume, and shoppers who only browse cost you nothing.
