GENLOOK FOR EYEWEAR

Virtual try-on for eyewear.

A frame lives or dies on the face wearing it. Genlook shows yours on the shopper's own face in seconds, scaled to their interpupillary distance, right on the product page, no app to download.

Frame try-ons, generated.

Same shopper photo, four different frames, each with the product photo it came from.

02 · The problem with eyewear

The wrong face makes the right frame look wrong.

A frame that's stunning in studio photography can sit completely wrong on a specific face, and that mismatch is the number one driver of eyewear returns. Static photos can't answer “too wide? too narrow? too much?” on the only face that matters.

· Two-thirds of online eyewear returns come down to fit

· Face shape can't be extrapolated from a model's lookbook shot

· Genlook answers on their face, in about five seconds

03 · Every frame shape

From aviator to cat-eye, the shape holds.

An oversized acetate isn't a thin metal round. The engine keeps each frame true on their face.

04 · What the engine gets right

Built for frames, not filters.

Scaled to their face

Interpupillary distance sets the true frame width, so “it was too small” never survives to the returns desk.

Lenses keep their character

Tints, gradients, and mirrored coatings carry over. Sunglasses look like sunglasses, not gray rectangles.

Real landmarks, real perspective

The engine reads facial landmarks and renders true perspective and lighting, not a floating sticker.

Zero configuration

Upload your standard product photos. The engine extracts the frame and makes it try-on ready automatically.

05 · Where eyewear brands use it

Not just the product page.

Product pages

True frame width and fit on the shopper's face, scaled by interpupillary distance.

Style comparison

Acetate, metal, cat-eye, aviator compared on their own face instead of a model's.

Frame launches

Send launch emails to try-on pages and turn "will this suit my face?" into orders.

06 · In depth

Fit drives two-thirds of eyewear returns.

Roughly two-thirds of online eyewear returns come down to fit, and 47% of shoppers don't have their measurements at hand when buying. Frame width relative to the face is most of the aesthetic decision with glasses, and it's the one thing studio photography can't show for the face that will wear them.

Rendering the frame on the shopper's own photo, scaled by interpupillary distance, settles the too-wide-or-too-narrow question before the order. It works for optical and sun alike. The live demo shows how frames and lens coatings render, and what virtual try-on is covers the underlying technology.

07 · Eyewear, specifically

Asked by eyewear brands.

Do shoppers need to download an app to try frames on?

No. Genlook runs entirely inside the product page in the browser, on phones and desktops. The shopper uses their camera live or uploads a single front-facing photo.

How accurate is the fit on different face shapes?

The glasses engine detects facial landmarks and scales the frame to the wearer's interpupillary distance, so frames that are visibly too wide, too narrow, or too tall get caught before the order.

Will reflective or tinted lenses render correctly?

Yes. Tint and reflection cues are preserved, mirrored coatings included. A clean white-background product photo gives the cleanest extraction.

Can I disable try-on on specific products?

Yes. Try-on can be toggled per product or per collection from the dashboard, which is useful for cases and cleaning cloths.

Are shoppers' photos private?

Yes. Photos are encrypted, never used to train models, and deleted automatically after 7 days.

What does it cost?

The free plan includes 100 generations, enough to test your bestselling frames. Paid plans scale with monthly volume, and shoppers who only browse cost you nothing.
