GENLOOK FOR HEADWEAR
Virtual try-on for headwear.
A hat is a face-shape decision made blind. Genlook puts your caps, beanies, and bucket hats on the shopper's own head in seconds, right on the product page.
Headwear try-ons, generated.
Same shopper photo, three different hats, each with the product photo it came from.

02 · The problem with headwear
“Does this suit my face?” can't be photographed.
A hat's fit is dominated by geometry the product photo doesn't have: the shopper's hairline, head shape, and crown volume. So headwear gets admired online and bought in person, unless the product page can put it on their head.
· Face-shape doubt is the silent killer of online hat sales
· A model's jawline tells the shopper nothing about their own
· Genlook resolves the doubt in one selfie, on the page

Swipe for the next hat, same head. Cards cycle on their own.

every crown and brim shape
03 · Every headwear shape
From beanie to fedora, the shape holds.
A soft knit isn't a structured cap isn't a wide brim. The engine renders each type the way it actually sits.
04 · What the engine gets right
An engine that knows a cap from a coat.
Silhouette detected, not guessed
Structured cap, soft beanie, or bucket hat: the engine identifies the type and renders it accordingly.
Hairline and crown aware
The brim sits where it would in real life, over their hair volume, not pasted on the forehead.
2D photo in, worn look out
No 3D scans. Your standard catalog photos are all the engine needs.
One selfie, the whole rack
Returning shoppers reuse their photo across the store, so comparing three hats takes three clicks.

05 · Where headwear brands use it
Not just the product page.
Product pages
Brim placement and crown fit shown on the shopper's own head, right next to add-to-cart.
Style comparison
Cap, beanie, or bucket compared on their own face shape instead of a lookbook model's.
Drops & colorways
Route new-color and seasonal drops to try-on pages and cut "didn't suit me" returns.
06 · In depth
Hats are bought in person for a reason.
Headwear has no size-chart safety net: most hats are one-size, so the entire decision is "does this suit my face?" That's geometry the product photo doesn't carry, and it shows in the wider numbers, with 69% of online shoppers struggling to get the right fit first time. In person, the mirror settles it in two seconds; a product page usually can't.
Putting the hat on the shopper's own head from one selfie gives the page that mirror moment. The live demo shows how caps, beanies and brims render, and what virtual try-on is covers how the technology works.

07 · Headwear, specifically
Asked by headwear brands.
Does it work for both fitted caps and knit beanies?↓
Yes. The hat engine handles structured caps, soft knit beanies, bucket hats, and headbands without the merchant having to tag each SKU.
What about hairstyles? Does the hat sit on top of the hair correctly?↓
The engine accounts for the wearer's hairline and crown so the brim sits where it would in real life. Volume-heavy hairstyles sit higher, matching reality.
Do shoppers need to take a selfie every time?↓
No. Returning visitors reuse the photo they previously uploaded across the entire store. The second try-on is one click.
Do I need special product photos?↓
No. Standard catalog shots on a clean background are enough for the engine to extract the hat.
Are shoppers' photos private?↓
Yes. Photos are encrypted, never used to train models, and deleted automatically after 7 days.
What does it cost?↓
The free plan includes 100 generations, enough to test your bestsellers. Paid plans scale with monthly volume, and shoppers who only browse cost you nothing.
